Project

Steppe schools programme

Classroom materials and field days built around the landscape children already know.

SCA Project Education & Awareness Mongolia 2022 · 2023 ← Back to archive

Rather than importing a curriculum, this programme worked with local teachers to build materials rooted in the grasslands immediately around each school.

Field days pair classroom work with a morning outdoors, and the materials have since been adopted by schools beyond the original pilot districts.

Support our work

Keep them moving

Saiga herds cross hundreds of kilometres of open steppe every year. Your support helps keep those routes open, protected and safe.

Make a donation

Every donation goes to work in the range states.
