Horn trade evidence review

Pulling two decades of seizure records into one usable picture.

Student Research Project International Policy · Research & Monitoring Kazakhstan · Uzbekistan 2024 ← Back to archive

Seizure records for saiga horn are held by different agencies in different formats, which makes it hard to say anything confident about how the trade has changed over time.

This student project consolidated two decades of published records into a single dataset, and set out plainly what the data can and cannot support.
