Tracking migration corridors with community-led monitoring

New field data is helping protect key habitat routes across the range.

Community monitors are now contributing systematic observations to the corridor mapping programme, filling gaps that collar data alone cannot cover.

The combined dataset gives a far more complete picture of where herds move in years when rainfall shifts the migration east or west.
